Grand Central Murder (1942)

What a great movie to watch. Stars galore and what a history lesson to be learned from the actors in the movie. Van Heflin, Failed in several early attempts to become an actor and would always go back to the sea life. He finally made it at age 28. Samuel S. Hinds did not start acting until he was 54 and was in 200 films. Other actors Tom Conway, Patricia Dane, Cecilia Parker, Virginia Grey, Sam Levene, and many more. This is a movie about a woman who uses everyone to get what she wants while living as rich lady. There is lots of good suspects, a detective and police chief bantering, as well as a murder committed in a locked door train car. We are kept waiting for clues through out the movie and made to rethink who we think it is through out the movie. It is serious yet a lots of comedy blended in through out this no slow parts movie. The quality of this film is great, and can be watched on YouTube. Lots of flash backs so we get to see Patricia through out the movie despite the fact she is the murder victim right off the bat. Everyone has a reason why they didn't do it yet their stories show why we should accuse them. I think this is one top notch mystery movie.
